Detective leader knew plot so well

I have rarely seen any frontman work an audience so well as Pigeon Detectives lead singer/songwriter Matt Bowman did at the Pavilions.  So rarely, in fact, I can remember the last time - and that was the legendary Green Day performance at the Pavilions as part of the American Idiot tour four years' ago, when Billie Joe and co were being hailed as the best live ensemble in the world.
