The Plymouth Summer Festival includes an ecletic and diverse range of arts and theatre events of an exceptionally high standard whether direct from the West End or through collaboration and partnership between the City's arts venues.

Following a hugely successful run in London's West End, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular high musical Mary Poppins is coming to the Theatre Royal in its first ever UK tour and, if advance sales are anything to go by, it is sure to be a major highlight of the Festival.  The Theatre Royal also promises to deliver an unrivalled heavyweight arts' programme including a number of world premieres.

The Plymouth Summer Festival is delighted to be partnered with the Barbican Theatre and the University of Plymouth's Peninsula Arts.  This Summer the City's arts venues are collectively offering a massively significant programme including some exciting new contemporary work in theatres and unusual spaces, alongside more traditional and mainstream events.  The Pavilions is also on board with a broad selection of entertainment and delights including the Arena stage show Bob the Builder as well as the largest names in UK touring comedy.
